Should field goals be made harder?

    No, but if they did, Field Goals from where the ball is spotted (ie. not between the hash marks but where the guy is tackled) would be great.

    Stover would have missed.

    I see no reason to change things regarding field goals. Enough exciting hits and misses to keep things interesting here. I actually like to see teams try to kick the 50+ yarders. Better for the game than a short punt imho.

    How about this:
    Make 60+ yarders count for 4 points. Keep everything else the same as far as FGs go.
    Give offenses a choice of going for a standard PAT or a 60 yard PAT - if you make it you get the ball back instead of kicking off..
