Shout out to Jason McCourty

Beat me to it.

Steve Smith is still a beast. No one has shut him down like we did.

 

McCourty for NE has been awful.....Our McCourty has done much better

 

They completely took away the big play from Smith and effectively shut him (and the entire Panthers passing game) down in doing so, yet Deuce whined and whined about how the CBs were playing too far off the line. Just can't please some people.

 

I think J-Mac is showing us all of the tools to be a #1 shutdown corner in this league. Seriously, he's playing as good as ANY corner in the league. I'm shocked with his progression and am absolutely loving it.

He's still no Finnegan because Finny's work ethic and leadership skills are impeccable..

I admit to being one who wanted ATV to start over J-Mac and was slightly angry/surprised when J-Mac won the job but the coaches made the absolute right decision here.. But having ATV is quite the luxury, as good as ant 3rd corner can get really and the absolutely full potential to be a very solid #2 one day..

I just hope the F.O. doesn't get cheap this off season when Finny's a free agent and lets him walk (I can see their line of thinking being "J-Mac is just as good and ATV is good enough to be a #2 and oh we like Tommie Campbell now as oue #3").

 

Did anyone think it was Ironic that last week McCourt and Griffin hit eachother and hurt each other. And this week Jason McCourty did the exact same thing in the Pats game last night? Lol

 

I actually don't mind Griff as much as most on this board, I think he's a pretty decent starter. Not great not terrible. It doesn't help that he's playing with total dickfaces at SS.
