    I can think of 3 Skillets that I would vote for against Skid Row.
    - My dog Skillet
    - Skillet from Sanford and Son
    - Skillet from Blacula

    But the band skillet? Naw..

    Skillet has been around as a Christian Rock band since the mid 90s. Just broke through mainstream just fairly recently. Haven't heard their tunes in years. It's funny when people assume they are a new band. They're just more mum about the overtly Christian stuff now.

    I had their album from year 2000. And everything up til 2005 or so. Saw them live a few times at Christian festivals when they were kind of industrial hard Rock, as close to a Christian Marilyn Manson you'll get. Lol

    So for nostalgic purposes, I'll vote skillet. They paid their dues. And have been going solid for 20 years or more.
