Titans coach Mike Munchak had expressed optimism that running back Shonn Greene might return to practice this week, but it looks as if the wait will go on a little longer.

Greene has missed both days of practice this week, and he said Wednesday that returning to practice next week might be more realistic.

“This week I don’t know, but definitely next week,” Greene said. “Hopefully within the next week or two, I’ll be ready to go. It’s getting close.”

Greene injured his knee in the season opener and underwent arthroscopic knee surgery in mid-September. He originally thought he might be ready to return a week earlier than his current pace, but had a slight setback about a week ago.

“I just had a little wound where they did the (knee) surgery and it opened back up,” Greene said. “It kind of set me back a couple of days ago. They just had to get some stitches back in there and sew it back up.”

If guys in the 90's can crazy glue their teeth back in, why is Greene missing a game for some bleeding?

This sucks. We need him more this week than any other. Hasn't played a complete game yet for the Titans. I don't think even a quarter of one game.

This franchise just can't catch a break and it's gettin on my frikkin nerves.

Ringer had decent vision for a running back.. had several nice little runs. I love that Battle straight up mauls people, but there was no excuse for him not scoring at the goal-line last week..
