Not if you like winning college football national championships.
Possibly... but if you're a good coach, you can win in a lot of different places.
Possibly???? Clearly if you like winning championships the state of Alabama is the place to be, right now anyway.
And if Saban weren't there..?
Is it the state or the coach?
What I said is pretty accurate. How many championships did Alabama win before Saban..?
How many? The most in NCAA history, just so you know.
Alabama and Auburn are 2 of only 19 teams to win multiple national titles in the modern poll era (1936-present). 2 of only 30 to win national title (or half a title) in that era.
Sooo... no other team can do that because time ends this year?
Didn't mean to step on the toes of such a Bama fan, sorry.
Alabama will bring home the National Championship this year, huh?
So, prior to Saban coaching Bama... how many years had passed since they won their last Championship? 10? 15? I saw some they tied for first, but lost their bowl games.
Then, it took a few years for Saban to build the program to how we know it now.
Saban did that. He can definitely do that elsewhere.
Looking at Bama's luck the past two years with a late loss in the season and having everyone in front of them crumble under the pressure, it would not shock me.
ACC! ACC! ACC!
Best basketball conference ever assembled and we're going to have the national champion in football. We own sports.
You don't know college football then..
Money, Alumni, Fanbase, Recruiting, Facilities...It's the complete package.
