Well, I said before Saban not during his tenure.
He'd take that quality with him where ever he goes and Bama would, most likely fall into the similar period prior to Saban. Meanwhile, Satan's new school climbs on top.
HA! My phone "auto corrected" Saban to Satan. Now THAT ' funny!
Nice. A better response would be that Bama has won 3 prior to Saban. One in '92 and the 2 when I was merely 2 or 3 years old - '78 & '79.
So yeah... I don't care what they did before I was alive. Or, in this case, cognizant.
Arguments abound, I'm sure, but I found the last NO Bama won prior to Saban was nearly 17 years. '93 - '08 no championships.
Yes, I don't care what a team did 50+ years ago - unless it has ramifications today. Record books don't. Great for their legacy but doesn't in the here and now.
Currently, Saban IS Bama.
YOU ARE NOT THE CENTER OF THE UNIVERSE. YOUR OPINION DOES NOT CHANGE HISTORICAL FACTS OF COLLEGE FOOTBALL.
**** I might as well say 1998 is the only season of college football that counts and 1999 BCS Championship is the only one that counts. But that would just be dumb yo.
Bottom line, it's pretty real dumb to think that if Saban goes to Texas that the state Alabama will fall off the face of the earth in college football. Particularly considering the state of Alabama contains the last 2 different BCS Champions.
I do agree... which is why I never said anything of the sort.
Huh. Whatever you say, I guess.
All I said was Alabama would go back to where they were - which is still in the top 25, if not the top 10, consistently.
At the same time, whatever school Saban ended up at would become the "top dog" for a few years.
That is all.
Saban is the only reason the word "Alabama" is even uttered in 2013.
He'll be there. His wife is all about it.
What about your boy Cam? Or you know, this season and Auburn?
Oh dunce.... so so very dumb.
