So Which Is It The Coaching/Play Calling Or Mariota Himself??

Where does the problem lie? Is it the play calling and coaching or is it the simple fact that Mariota just isn't playing well?

Do you think a change of coaching and play calling could help Marcus get his confidence back and play better?

When you have 11 men on the field and 8 of them are blocking it's hard to develop a passing game.

My take on this is the same as Bonkys, we're just not using an effective offense.

Mariota is a guy you can spread the field with, this 1970s inline offense if beneath him.

You don't often see good NFL QBs shoved under Center half the game...

    Conclusion: Mularkey stinks.

Its not a straight forward answer as its a collective of everything, most people say its MM and the HC, but if you replaced MM with Brady and HC with Belichick now would we win the division?

I voted "little bit of both", and here's why...

Mariota is regressing, BECAUSE of incompetent coaching. No proper development for a young QB. We complain this team has never developed WRs... guess what? We're seeing the same with young QBs now.

Mariota needs a coaching staff that will help him develop and play to his strengths.

It's everything. When you have an offense that leaves 8 or 9 guys into block and don't have a top tier receiver who can create separation, on top of having a QB who is still learning and losing confidence, it is not going to work out well.

don't forget special teams and defensive team as well, the problems are within the complete depth of the team. But my own opinion of the offense, it has improved from last season, though defiantly needs more development.
