"23. Tennessee Titans (25) If we were ranking the teams in order of their potential, the Titans would be a lot higher. Their two young tackles, Michael Roos and David Stewart, have the pure talent to be among the best pairs of tackles in the league. But ranking them in order of how good they will be in 2007 — not how good they'll be in 2008 or 2009 — the Titans are a bit lower. Roos and Stewart still need to show that they can pass block well enough to give Vince Young plenty of time, time he'll need if he's going to learn to read through his progressions and look to pass first and run second.

Center Kevin Mawae has been among the best in the league, and he provided veteran leadership for the Titans last year, but he's not quite the run blocker he once was, and at age 36, he's not going to get better. Guard Benji Olson is one of just two Titans remaining from the team that lost to the Rams in the Super Bowl (punter Craig Hentrich is the other). Like Mawae, he's a good veteran presence to have around on a young team, but he's not as good a blocker as he was a few years ago."-- Michael David Smith

I thought last year the chemistry they had with VY was pretty amazing. Things should only get better this year. If White and Henry turn out to be what we hope, and Troupe gets his act together, it could be really fun to watch.

Yeah, they did a great job of supporting Vince when he was running. Actually, they just have good hustle in general. Bell recovered a fumble that was like 20 yards down the field. They run with the ball carriers and just look to him someone. When you start blocking DBs...you're a good OL.

The oline played surprisngly well last year, I thought our interior line would be bad with Mawae and Olson.

The thing about Vince's supporting cast is that they are on the same page in the same mental zone. This is beyond chemistry. The offensive line plays so smart. Remember the block Vince got when he ran for the walk off TD in Houston? Remember that little "pitch" or whatever you want to call it Vince fed to Bo (#80) as he was being dragged down for what would have been a loss? I don't know if he was supposed to be the safety valve on that or what but a potential sack went away and the Dynamic Texas Tandem :greedy: (that's my new nickname for #10-#80) took one to the house. These guys are like Jedi feeding on the FORCE. Vince is like a 6'5 240 lb. YODA. We are going to see some miraculous stuff and it will result in a Lombardi.
