OOHHH that's right. I forget there are only 3 teams to be considered while the rest of them still coat-tail and claim "best conference"...

Well first off 4 and I guess winning most bowl games is "riding coat tails". 7 straight yeah that would be the best conference I'm not sure who else you would put as the best. Also funny considering how many of the usually good teams had crap seasons and yet the SEC still did pretty well.
