But what you forget to mention is though New England and New Orleans have elite quarterbacks. We don't. We have to make up for the lack there with other skill players. Of those mid round picks only 2 would I choose over CJ and that's over 3 years. Not a high percentage. CJ has been running bad and not have had a lot of help with the line. Yet, he still is a top 15 back. A better oline next year, he can be elite again. He is still worth the risk. Not many RB can do a lot with what our oline is giving him. He wont make as much as money anymore. 8 million is not that bad as well as not saving a lot with a cut. 4 million savings is not a lot to replace him. No FA is worth the money they will want and we cant guarantee a draft pick. I understand wanting to cut him, but what replacement do we have or can reasonable get? Literally, I want a name. I just do not see what or who we can get to replace him .

More positives I forgot to mention where position coaches. Maxie, Rocker and Jefferson have done a great job with our DB, DL and WR. I like Croom as well. He has gotten CJ running harder of late. If we can get new T's I think our O can be very good. Chet P is the only one I have a problem with. It seems as if our LB have taken a giant step back this yea, but what do you expect from a college roommate/assistant specials team coach.
