I need someone to explain why us losing out the playoffs is an non issue.

We controlled our own destiny and we totally blew it.

I was totally pissed that we lost against the terrible Jags today, but even in defeat we had a chance to still make the playoffs.

Regardless of Cassel being our QB, it would've took 16 points to beat these Texans. That's a milestone we could've succeeded at home even with Cassel as our QB.

What I want to know is, why are so many posters content with losing and the Texans sneaking out a lucky win?

You guys realize that we would've hosted a Derek Carr-less Raiders, right?

It baffled me that the the support wasn't there during the Bengals vs Texans game.

Not sure. But this game was exactly what I expected.

Know this team too well, and I hate that fact.

We're a team that always tries to lose our way into the playoffs...

Man, I expected a nail biter today. But it's crazy to think we controlled our own destiny and this is the result.

Maybe I'm seriously pissed because we had to rely on Bullock, but I just don't understand why some posters aren't seriously pissed.

Yeah we probably get beat 1st round, but is our draft spot that much special to throw in the towel.

And there's no guarantee we lose in the 1st round either.

This was the year we get in the playoffs and realize that any team is beatable.

    Not at all.

Season is still in tack when Bullock lined up for that 43 yard FG.

There's no way in hell a Savage led offense could come into Nashville and win week 17.

I'm not sure that not being pissed off means that you're hoping for a loss to get 2 spots better in the draft.

There's a difference between accepting the loss and desiring the loss.

We should have beat the Raiders, Texans, Colts in Nashville ... we **** ourselves in the foot long before we got to Jacksonville. Jacksonville was just the icing on the cake.

This is the mentality of most posters on this board.

We should say **** the past and move forward. Forward was beating the Jags and the sorry as Texans and we're in the playoffs.

    We couldn't even accomplish that.
