    I believe the Titans were willing to go as high as $11mil but never got the chance. They made him an offer of $34mil but he wanted to test free agency. He was signed within hours and at a price the Titans would never come close to. Is AH gonna be worth $14+mil a year for 7 years? NO.

    The Titans aren't cheap as they do overpay players, they just don't like to break the bank and put all of their eggs in one basket.

    Just to keep this in perspective, the Titans made Haynesworth this offer AFTER the '07 season, and BEFORE the '08 season...

    Oh, and DW, a ring can come off, but it can't plug a hole. Let the woman live and keep her satisfied... or I will. Jesse, yours already knows me.
