Michael Jackson wasn't vocally great once he was over the age of 12. Elvis was a vocal disaster. Johnny Cash couldn't sing at all. Etc etc etc... vocal talent is overrated. It's about entertaining in pop music. This girl probably doesn't have that ability.

Adele is a soul singer. Gimmicks aren't as important. If she were trying to appeal to teens, she'd be out of luck.
