So I got a new computer yesterday. i mac. I also picked up the Spore creature creator. It was only ten bucks. Thank god for a cool game I can finally play on a mac. I was going to wait for the full game to come out next month, but I have been wanting to play it badly. Spore will be an amazing game. I'm not even sure if it is a game. Just spending a short amount of time tooling around with the demo creature creator made me geek out. Spore is the next big thing. It is just fun to mess around and see what you can come up with. I don't know when I might get to play this being an x36o'er, but this is my type of game. I think it defines what most people want to play. Total power to create, and totally open gameplay with no guaranteed result. All games should go here. I think the hard core gamers are still out there looking for the games with a beginning middle and end, but this is the type of game I've been waiting for.
It is amazing. I think it is just fun sitting around seeing what I can come up with. The game will be awesome. Taking your creation from a single celled organism to a planet conquering empire.... ummm yes I want to play. It will be in fact a game with no end. Unless you are online and your planet gets destroyed. The game will be as deep or fun as you make it.
