I would skip these movies if the choice was entirely mine - but I do have a wife and friends that I have to appease as well. There is a term that applies to Michael Bay - all style, no substance. Like a band that has great hair but couldn't write a song to save their lives.. Any director with a massive budget can have monster FX. I am not impressed. He is unquestioningly a studio pawn. It's not even debatable. Do we need to waste another word on this piece of shite?
