No its not. Schwartz had ONE good year here and that was when Fat Al was the best defender in the league. Schwartz was a terrible DC for us.

We have a lack of playmakers. Wimbley and McCarthy is all we have that showed any effort today.

We need a speed rush guy like Von Miller or another dominant DT like Haynesworth back in the day or Suh now. It all starts with the lines.

 

the problem with the D, IMO, is the lack of accountability. The Titan players never get benched for playing terruble. Griffin should have been replaced the play after he whiffed on that arm tackle on NEs second drive. Not saying he should not have went back in at some point but the players have zero fear of losing their jobs or even snaps.

Name another franchise that would not only retain 'the Vagician' but throw barrows of $s at him for doing a bad job for multiple seasons? The answer is zero.

Will anyone in the front office be held accountable for the stupid Griffin/Amano/CJsideways contracts? Nope

Will any coaches be held accountable for the lack of on field success? nope. Even fishface was allowed to walk away with gobs of $s instead of being shatcanned out the door like he deserved. And ultimately the only reason fishface is gone is cause BA would not let his supergenius son on the staff
