It's a Tom Coughlin coached team.. what else needs to be said? Coughlin and pathetic are synonymous.

One way they could combat this is make the injury sit out time be 4 plays rather than 1. If the player comes back in before 4, unsportsmanlike penalty for flopping and 15 yards.

Cause if it is a cramp, it's gonna take longer than 1 play to get it worked out so it doesn't cramp again.

They'd not want to encourage those players who are actually hurt to stay in. Better to get to the sidelines and have someone check them out when they are "shaken up" for one play then to have them stay in and risk something serious.

If you and your injury stop the game, you should sit out the remainder of that drive, simple.

If the injury is legit, taking off 5-6 plays or w.e. will be good for that player.

They should have to take Red Zone Midol for all those cramps...or this formula...

I think it was different with Haynesworth. He was a fat tub of lard that would fake injuries because he was tired. What we're talking about here is a planned incident designed by a coach.

Well for now on have that player who gets "injured" come out for the drive. Or make a mandatory x-ray, if thats possible. Honestly not sure how reasonable the last one is.

Does need to be punished though, getting beat so you act beat? Might as well just walk back to the locker room IMO.

Remember when The Bills "invented" the No-Huddle?
Funny, cuz I remember Cincy doing it to perfection two years prior and it was The Bills who faked injuries in the AFC Championship game, which didn't work out so well..

    San Wyche, NFL genius.

    It's true.

A lineman needing medical attention is one of the oldest tricks in the book.

give each team 2 injury timeouts ( dont allow players to go to the sideline) wait for injured player to leave field and then continue, once they are used give them a 15 yard penalty rather the injury is fake or not.
