The Titans have seen two very different sides to quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick this season.

They’re hoping the good Fitzpatrick returns for Sunday’s game against Denver, following a three-interception, one-fumble performance against Indianapolis last week.

It’s been a bit of an all-or-nothing scenario for Fitzpatrick this season: In three of his starts, he’s posted a quarterback rating of better than 109.0, tossing a combined five touchdowns and zero interceptions. In his two other starts – and one lengthy relief appearance – Fitzpatrick’s quarterback rating has been below 58.0, as he’s thrown two touchdowns and seven interceptions.

“I think, Ryan , that’s been his career a little bit,” Titans offensive coordinator Dowell Loggains said. “When he’s on, he’s really on and sees things well. I think the problem he has is when he’s not on, he tries to force balls and to do too much.”

Loggains’ advice to Fitzpatrick is to simplify things if he feels himself struggling in a particular game.

“Sometimes as a quarterback you’re going to have an off day,” Loggains said. “The fastest way to get yourself back on track is to find a completion. If it’s throwing to (Chris Johnson) in the flat, if it’s checking down to Taylor (Thompson), find that completion and go to the next play.”

The Titans are 4-1 this season when they win the turnover battle, 0-5 when they lose it. Tennessee was a minus-three in last week’s loss to the Colts.

“When your offense turns the ball over four times,” Loggains said, “you’re not going to win many games.”

Someone remind Fitzpatrick what colour of jersey we're wearing before the game and he'll be fine.

Ive stopped watching the post game interviews. Its the same thing every week.

"We're our own worst enemy" - Bernard Pollard
"We just have to do the little things right" - Mike Munchak (BTW, the fact he talks about that every week is an indictment on how clueless he really is.)
"No I dont think its the run game fault, we just gotta..................... And things like that" - Chris Johnson

no sh** he must limit turnovers, thank you John Madden for pointing out the obvious. Here is another obvious statement: We are F*****! Do I care anymore? No not really because this organizations just crushes all the fans spirits anyway.
