Head scratcher, but... neither will go much further.

Ironically, I could see Talking Heads going further against the other groups than Sublime.

having said that I tend to really like 'jazzy' rock. Steely Dan, Talking Heads, Joe Jackson, whatevers. I do not like grunge, Primus ect so much. I do listen but I think the music is pretty real turrible.

 

see and I love Jazz.

I listen to a lot of different music and I find artists like Najee, Klugh, Jordan ect to be quite good. Those are the ones off the top of my head.

On my commute I listen to sport talk until the topic drifts off the Titans. Who wants to hear about any sports other than the 2 Tone Blue right? Then I catch the news and then I listen to 101.1 HD2 Jazz WUBT. Most excellent. If that bores me it is onto my USB drive with a gizallion tracks on it.

 

I'm beginning to see and understand now: Cruds is a hipster....and, ironically, an artist who dislikes art.

T Heads is surpring in that they still sound fresh; there's not much that's dated about their sound although they would never be allowed in today's rock charts, what with all the emo and dumb beards. I don't have any sort of nostalgia to cloud my judgement on them as I really only started listening to them about two years ago. They totally would be fine in art house and coffee shop playlists now and people would think it was current.

It is stimuli for a variety of senses and emotions within me (my definition of ART) and causes my cognitive processes to awaken and effectively cause creative expressions of my own to launch and catapult towards unique destinations. Art that creates new art is genius.
