Game Day Thread Super Bowl 51: GDT

I was going for Atlanta till 4 quarter. Then I wanted to see a comeback. people can say it was an Atlanta collapse. But in order for them to come back everything had to go right for patriots in the 4th and it did.

 

This game proves that football is still a passing game. Titans need to become a more pass heavy offense next season but i'm not sure Mariota can make all the throws either

 

What a roller coaster ride that was.

 

1998 – Broncos win Superbowl
1999 – Falcons lose Superbowl
2000 – Titans go to Superbowl

2016 – Broncos win Superbowl
2017 – Falcons lose Superbowl
2018 - ??

 

Yes!!! Someone else caught the pattern. Titans break it by winning it next year!!!!

 

Heard or read a discussion as to whether Matt Ryan deserved the MVP, in hindsight. Lol

 

I didn't think MVP took postseason into account anyway. Aside from that, I think he did well in the SB accept when it mattered, but statistically was fine.

 

He was pedestrian, at best, in the Superbowl... I simply thought it was funny.

 

17/23 284 2 TD, he had big completions on the drive to get into FG range (27, 39) and I think play calling F'd him for the win.

Not the greatest SB performance but I think better than pedestrian.
