    Um... Stan Lee didn't have anything to do with Shazam. He's a DC character, not Marvel.

    Capttain Marvel was among the most popular of character waaaay back in the day. The 70's reboot wasnt accepted very well by the new generation.
    Also, "Shazam" was just his powersummons call. It wasnt adopted as his name until very, very late in his career. I'm guessing Gomer Pyle was a fan while growing up.

    DC/WB execs are going to be taking money baths when Shazam hits theaters.

    Every little boy across the country will be screaming "SHAZAM!" for months.

    It is going to be worse than Frozen songs last year.

    Sadly probably true..
    By 2020 all movies released in theaters will have every superhero in them. A minimum of 25 superheroes in every film. No more chick flicks. No more Madea. Just 100% green screen wire-fu in tights and capes..
