World Health Organization ratcheted up an alert, warning that "all of humanity" is threatened.

The Flu that we have never seen before keeps spreading across the world.

    will it stop?

Dont be scared of death Jeff. This flu was bound to happen it's mother natures way of clearing the planet.

IMO i think we are a virus to the planet and stuff like the swine flu, hiv, small pox etc... is the planets natural defense of fighting us off.

If the "planet" wanted to fight us off, I'd think it would get our attention a bit faster if it just cut off the air for a couple of minutes.

no. the planet is a living thing just like a tree, or a human. we are designed to fight off infections etc... the planet does the same thing. look how we are polluting the planet and causing global warming.

The planet has come up with some killer viruses to rid us but none of them are working fast enough, so now it's throwing a new one at us.

I do not think the rock on which we take rounds round the sun cares much.

I do think is our own lifestile who is bitting our own arses.

MadCows disease-> How can we feed non-moving cows in farms with dehidrated corpses of their own... it just seems freaking absolutely wrong and unhuman.

Aviar Flu-> Chickens live in farms in horrible conditions in huge numbes under constant stress

Swein Flu-> About the same, but mix it with chicken farms, make a human catch it, and, we get our own arse bitten.

Since farms turned into factories we are feeling the diference, and we will more and more. But, we all want cheap meat, and nobody likes to lose is job to the competence, which produces more, cheaper, and more profitable.

Health measures are not alike in all countries, but diseases don't know about borders.

And, even with all health measures, in those conditions we are one small mutation away of another pandemia.

Now, about this flu, the death rate of infected humans seems to be around 5%, I do not know what is about normal flu, but many more people die of it each year and we don't give a damm about it.

No need to panic, but we should think about all this things going on.

This is the new hot flu. They come in seasons like fashion trends. Most die as fast as they arrive.
I never pay attention to the nonsense.

    Bird flu was sooo 2008.
