In his first four years, Fred Taylor missed significant time with shoulder, hamstring, knee and groin injuries. Since then, the Jaguars running back has been pretty durable, missing only eight games because of injuries over the last six years.
This week he indicated part of his secret when he was asked how he was feeling a couple of days after a 26-carry, 121-yard game in Indianapolis.
"I feel like I am 40 [years old]," said Taylor, who's 32. "I've just got to continue to eat my vegetables. Tomatoes, strawberries and everything that promotes quick healing -- fish oil, anything. I am looking for anything."
If you have any special suggestions, I can try to pass them along the next time I see him.
