I have to ask. Where does "UTjr" come from?

World Peace aka Eric with a K is similar to Dunce Wayne. They cry themselves to sleep every night because the SEC has dominated the BCS era with 5 different teams winning championships and being undefeated vs every other conference. They make fun of SEC SEC SEC fans while they will cheer any team (even rivals) as long as they are playing an SEC team which of course makes them NCAA NCAA NCAA fans. So being a NCAA NCAA NCAA fan, he considers Texas the real UT. puhleeze.

Eric with a K is also famous for hyping Boise State and starting a "Boise State will be your #### (insert year) national champion" annual thread even though every person that pays attention to college football knows that will never happen and that Boise State plays a sissy schedule in a sissy conference. Of course that's true about every team outside of the SEC SEC SEC but Boise State's is extra sissy. They even got scared and backed out of the Big East even while all the hard teams are leaving that conference.

    In conclusion...

    SEC SEC SEC

I see. Well the University of Tennessee is a heck of a lot older than the University of Texas so would that not make Texas the UTjr?

UT Football needs to return to it's glory years from the 1990's-2000. As the team after several coach changings have really been hurt big time by them!

I've been getting hammered in another forum (Vols) for saying Tennessee should be competing for a national title (not winning) by year 4 under Coach BJ.

If they are not in Atlanta by year 4 he should be fired immediately.

Why do Tennessee fans have such low expectations?

    Programs have made faster turnarounds.

Saban at Alabama, Kelly at Notre Dame, Holtz at South Carolina, Stoops at Oklahoma, there are many examples.

Big time programs can quickly turn the corner and become elite again yet Tennessee fans seem to be content with a 6-7 year rebuilding plan lol.

I love my school but we have some of the dumbest and worst fans in all of college football. Most seem like they would be just fine with Tennessee being a perennial 8-9 win team rather than a program that competes for titles every year. I've never heard fans of LSU, Alabama, Auburn or even Georgia say shat like that.

CBJ gets 4 years. If he doesn't win the east by then he should be fired immediately.

I don't know if I would fire him immediately, I mean you have to look at the specific situation. But in general I agree with your sentiment, 4 years is plenty time for us to be competing for SEC (and by default: national) titles.

I don't settle for anything, but you bring up Saban. How many coaches did Alabama have to go thru to get back to national prominence after Gene Stallings? What about ND after Holtz? After Switzer at Oklahoma? All of those schools went years and I think it is safe to say none of them had the train wrecks like Kiffin and Dooley. Now, that is admins fault to a point, especially with Dooley. But even Dooley came about as a guy who would take the job after the Kiffin debacle. I'm not ready to say they should be a NC contender by year 4 because this is the SEC and you have to have UF, UGA and USC fall to the side for that to happen, but by year 4 we certainly should be in the mix to go to Atlanta at least.

But what if UTjr goes bankrupt and liquidators are brought into recoup monies by dismantling geyland stadium?
