You didn't read the article about the program being in 9 figure debt?

OK fine. If UT goes bankrupt and sells off the stadium with in a year, I'll give you $100 and leave the forum. If UT is still in business, then you do the same.
    Alex1939 high fives this.

Jabo Lee just signed. Another couple players switch and it's a decent class coming from a tough situation.

Top 25, but still 10th in the SEC.

Top 10 sec isn't good enough

Jabo Lee should have been a 4 star. Injuries.

I agree. But it was hard to expect much more.

The question is what we do next year. Can we play well enough to make a bowl game with a winning record?? If so it's a resounding success that will help a slow turn around, anything more is icing on the cake.

If we have another losing record and miss a bowl game, I fear we could fall further into the abyss. Might be tough for CBJ to do better than 10th in the SEC in that scenario.

And of course we play At Oregon next year. And we mostly suck on trips to the West Coast.

But for right now, I'm just happy we got one guy to flip!

7 wins with the bowl. So six regular season wins.

That's all I want. Anything more I'll be pleasantly surprised.

I don't think anyone can realize just how bad the relationships btwn the former staff and the hs in tenn had gotten...or lack of relationship. I know of someone who was a letterman at tennessee and the family were huge ut fans...there son was a top punter/kicker in the state. He now is a uk wildcat and was named to the freshman all American team as a punter. I don't know what happened, but they hate Dooley and the father sent his letterman jacket back to ut (not sure if ut ever sent it back with an apology or not). Things worked out for them because their son is very happy at UK, but I can't imagine what Dooley did to drive that kind of wedge

Haslam could just slide the UT debt in with his utility bill and never notice the difference. Anyone else besides me going to the signing event Thursday? Of course I know I will see Deuce and Erik there.
