Funny to correct someone for one minor error when I have to sort through run-on sentences and misplaced commas (three in one sentence? Fourth grade English class).

And why would I not call myself a Houstonian, when I was born at Memorial City Hospital? Nice try there, pal. Also funny to make fun of a state that you've most likely never visited. People could easily describe Houston by famous rappers and the notorious Fifth Ward. Again, job well done.

I'll go ahead and give you another strike by saying that I live in Katy, Fort Bend County, by far one of the nicest areas surrounding Houston. Keep it up buddy, you're making your arguments have that much more validity. Saying that I live in Montgomery County (which is in Houston) and have a parole officer implies that Houston has a high crime rate itself. Proofreading, learn to use it.

Also, tits are awesome. You're just a walking reason as to why we're home of one of the largest gay communities. Shame on you - you disgust me.
    Titans Eternal high fives this.

Can't complain about the Texans fan base as far as attendance goes. The Texans have sold out every game since their inception.
And though the guy is being an a-hole he's right about the oilers as well. People stopped going to the games because Bud kept threatening to leave.
Dont know how it is in Tenn. But down here we hate to be threatened with **** like that.
That being said. Loved the Oilers, hated Pud Adams.

Texas does have a city in the top 10 best(Austin) While Tenn has zero.
But I wouldnt take this site to serious. They have L.A. and N.Y in the top ten.
As far as the crime rate goes. One word illegals. They wont let you shoot em,and the gov wont stop em. So what are you supposed to do?
But dont worry the invasion is heading your way and you'll get to see for yourself.....assuming you have jobs.

I have repeatedly said I love Austin. Everyone always says it's similar to Nashville too.

Nashville isn't far off from Austin in terms of rank.

We have plenty of illegals already.

Believe me when I say it's only going to get worse. I would take living anywhere in Tenn. over N.Y or L.A. That site sucks!!

I moved to Houston from Nashville 5 months ago. I'm married to a Houston native so I've been visiting Houston for the last 15 years. Of course it's all personal opinion but to me Houston has nothing on Nashville. Now I don't want to get off on a rant here, but...

    1) Feeder roads. This has got to be one of the worst ideas I've ever seen. Lets say you are at Store A and want to go to Store B which happens to be to the right of Store A but the parking lots are not connected. Can you turn left out of Store A and drive five feet to Store B?...no. You must turn right, drive a quarter mile, do a u-turn loop, end up on the other side of the interstate, drive half a mile to the next u-turn loop to end up back on the side of the interstate you were on in the first place, drive another quarter mile and viola! you're at Store B!

    2) Interstates. I never noticed until I moved to Houston what a cool thing the interstates in Tennessee do. If you're going down the interstate the exit ramps come first THEN the entrance ramp after. You see, in Houston they have it set up where the entrance ramps come first then the exits. So you end up with cross fire traffic of people in the left lanes desperately fighting to get to the right to exit at the same time people are entering from the right trying to get to the left. (Don't get me started on how slow they drive here...nothing beats going 35 getting onto the interstate...might as well just stay on the feeder where the limit is 50...you're most likely not going to get to go much more than 50 on the interstate anyway.)

    3) Racism. I've lived in Nashville long enough in Nashville to know there's plenty of racism there. I had read Houston is one of the most diverse cities in the US....pretty cool right? I mistook "diverse" for "tolerant of other cultures". Yes it's diverse here. I've met people from all over the world, but the "locals" can't seem to stand it. I met someone from France and told some people about it thinking how cool it was...they replied "yeah that's the problem with our city....too many different people". I got tickets to go to a Dynamo game but had trouble finding someone to go with me because "there's too many Mexicans there" I asked what schools my son should go to and all the information I could get out of anyone was what percentage of kids were white at each school. They also seem to think with me being from Nashville I've never seen a Mexican before (I lived off Nolensville Rd in Antioch....I may have seen one or two before)

    4) The Weather. Awful

    5) Krystals, Don't have em

I know people are going to say "why don't you move back" My situation is complicated and with jobs, family, etc that really isn't an option at the moment. There's a myriad of other things Nashville has over Houston (hills, beautiful trees, four seasons.....) but there are some things I do like here.

Of course that's just my opinion, I could be wrong
