The Texans D is young damn near across the board. So I think you can safely say it is going to be good for years to come.
The O is a little sketchy over the long haul.
I figure Schaub is good four at least three more years. Andre is obviously getting a little old and will need to be replaced in the near future.
And when you consider that we have three more drafts to address those two issues (and they already started on the receivers) I like our chances.

So just what does he mean by years to come? I can see the next three to four years myself.
Anything after that ......who knows?

I have had many discussions with Texan fans and they are starting the whole 2000 Ravens thing. That the Texans defense is that dominant ( which it isnt) and that whether Schaub goes down or not they dont need an elite QB. The Texans defense may get there but the Texans D isnt as good as some of the Titans top defenses yet.

My point is.. You really dont know. But by listening to Texan fans here in Houston and reading your message boards you would think the Texans have been winning for a decade. I think Texan fan is in for an classic NFL wake up call this season.

You go on another teams board and expect different? And when you consider what the Texans did despite all the injuries last year,why wouldn't we be confident with everyone healthy?
