not I, but if someone wanted him too wear a C for show and help define the D then that might have been something. But Titans went with Pollard. Notice how the fans like Pollard? Notice how the Titan FO has not signed him long term? 31 only has probably 4-5 seasons left so why not sign him to a decent contract instead of letting him walk over $100k or something? Oh thats right gota pay :cj: his ransom

Pollard was cut by 3 teams in 5 years. He is not the kind of player who should be signed to a long-term contract. He produces best on short deals, when he has something to prove.

Eventually, it becomes clear he's a liability in pass coverage. It will happen in Tennessee, too. Probably sooner than we all hope.

oh he definatly has warts, but the D is totally different this year. And I credit 31

Hoping Grey and his 90 yard deep zone D get chucked under the bus early Jan, and he can take Bilbo Loaggins with him

he brings more than his play on the field

Too many Titans bring far less than their play on the field.

Crap even 33 is looking servicable this season, and he has been so turrible it was not even funny any longer

I did not want him in the offseason, but I didn't think he was this washed up and stupid.

I guess the Ravens did know which players to cut loose at the right time (other than Boldin). They were really smart to let average guys demanding huge contracts like Kruger, Ellerbe, Williams, etc. go. However, they really screwed themselves over by signing Flacco to that deal.
