He'll need to win playoff games and have at least three more elite seasons comparable to 2008-2010.

If he continues to play like he has in 2011-2013 it's a long shot. Being the only back with more than three 80+ yard rushes (with six) and being one of the fastest few to reach his yardage helps his case, but he needs a lot more on that resume.

Hall of Fame players tough it out in the playoffs in the biggest game of their lives. If he had done that and we went on to win the Super Bowl like we should have, he'd have my vote despite the past few years.

    well..

I will thank him some of the electrifying runs he had and some of those good memories and I wish the guy the best of luck in the future. Hell I hope he rushes for 4k yards a season and 50 touch downs and his team has a 15-1 record... as long as that 1 defeat is by the Titans. I have no ill will against himHe has been a good member of this organization and has never had any altercations or issues other than the hold out, and like him being cut.. it was just business. It just didn't make sense to pay him big money when he had obviously lost a step.

Some of you that are all butt hurt and crying over no media attention.. seriously wtf? Go be a fan of another team. Tennessee is a small market team that no one really cares about. We could have went to the superbowl and blew out the Seahawks and our post game celebration would have been cut short so the cleaning crews wouldn't have to stay up so late. All you would have heard on sports center was "Well Jim the Titans beat the Seahawks in the playoffs last night, scoring 99 touchdowns and shutting Seattle out... but anyway onto someone worth talking about, the Cleveland Browns have lost 100 consecutive gam....."

they're right. CJ can still get it done. Can he run over LB's? No. Is he still explosive when allowed to accelerate? Oh yes!
