I want to make sure I have this right, JimmyTitan is upset we're keeping a quality pass rush LB over a washed up kicker? Is that right? Because if thats the case, well Jimmy pal, let me open your eyes for you.

You see Ol' Robby Bironas' leg has been deteriorating for 2 or 3 years now, he went from booting 60-yard FG's to hardily being able to kick the ball from our own 35-yard line to the other teams endzone on kickoffs. Thats pretty bad. We can pay some punk undrafted FA kicker for a few dollars to do that, why not upgrade the position now that we can? Bironas has been some what a liability since 2012, its kind of a good thing we let him go.

While he has declined in distance his accuracy is still superb. Not to mention he is a great clutch kicker. I hate to see him go because he made many great clutch kicks for us. As for wimbley, the dude is a scrub. Maybe a new regime will change that but I doubt it.
