I was pumped we landed Martin, Brown grew on me as the year went on though so I'm glad we took him.
Yea I wasn't sold on the brown pick either. Martin was the one player I wanted out of the draft so I was definitely happy about that. Looking back,mi think decastro was still the better pick than wright tho. Just so many holes on that Line. It would have opened this draft up better for us.
Well 39 is still a great spot to draft a lineman. So even if we don't use the 10th pick on one, we will get one early IMO.
Cowboys got Andre Gurode at 37 years ago, he's since become a Pro Bowler
Saints took LeCharles Bentley at 44, same story, Pro Bowler now
Yea. If we don't intend on taking Warmack at 10 (and none of the top level prospects slide to us) it would be just as smart to move back.
I wouldn't mind having a Terrell Suggs caliber player
We might already have that in Ayers
The 10th pick is worth 1300 points. Rams make a solid trading partner, taking their 21 pick (redskins) and their 48th pick as well. We move down 11 spots and pick up the 16th pick in the second round as well.
The points fall in their favor by 80 but I think it's a solid trade.
I didn't mean an OLB per say. Just a player of his caliber on defense.
I don't want us to give Jeff Fisher anything but a kick in the head
Yea maybe... But his ties to the organization could actually give us a legit chance at trading the pick... Otherwise we could drop back 2-3 spots and pick up at best a 3rd
