Hunter has the ability to be an elite WR. So that is nice. I think the defense will be fine once we add some depth later in the draft. We added some solid defensive players in FA already. So our defense is already better. And an improved offense that controls the TOP should help the defense out as well.

Still would have liked Caradine though

It is lame when you have one of the worst defenses in the league. It is lame when you give up a 3rd next year and more to do it. Sorry, is that not completely obvious?

 

Part of the reason our defense was bad was because the offense went 3 and out a lot.

Improved offense = improved defense.

 

I figured Lacey would go to the Bengals.

 

As opposed to one of the worst offenses in the league? We have improved the defense quite a bit in FA already. We mostly need depth.

I also would not be surprised to see us trade Washington for a pick as well

 

No it isn't. We handed help to defense in FA, now have a WR type prospect that nobody else has in AfC South aside from AJ. Woopty doo a 7th and third next year, chill homie
