    Mel Brooks made a silent movie in the late '70's. It was about a Hollywood director who wanted to make a silent movie. It was called Silent Movie. And it was okay if you like Mel Brooks' humor style.

    Nosferatu, Cabinet of Dr. Caligari, any number of the great Lon Chaney, Chaplin, Gary Cooper, Valentino films.
    Very silent, very watchable..

    I used to have a cool flipbook for this film.

    I can't do silent movies. I can't watch really old movies. Gone With the Wind is the exception.
