The Bucs have benched LCB Alterraun Verner

That's really saying a lot.

He was mad because they made him compete for a starting job... Lol

He wasn't worth what he got from Tampa, and we was going to give him the same. I'm glad Tampa is the one stuck with him.

It's not like when he was here our secondary was top notch.

 

Verner would have got a pass interference along with the TD

I disagree, Verner never counted on his speed, he made a living off instincts,

But there is a level of speed a CB has to meet to cut it in the NFL, if he's anything less than 4.6 he'll have a hard time keeping up and recovering

But yea for a 4.5 guy originally if he's lost even 1/10th of a sec it's gonna be hard for him..

 

Verner is still 1000x better then Sensabaugh and BWW

BWW is turning the corner, we're going to put off drafting a top flight CB because of BWW coming around sometime this season... Gonna stink cause McCourty can't have too much more in the tank, already wearing down some....

Our CB situation is going to stay McCourty-Cox-BWW for a good while IMO. Sensabaugh is the suspect CB, if we can get more from Huff I'll feel a lot better about our CB's, but that doesn't seem to be happening.. Sensabaugh is our weakest link at that position tho.

 

Huff pissed me off on that 3rd and 20.

 

Sure, but that wouldn't have made a difference. May be we win an extra game or two, but that takes us out of contention for Mariotta. And this year he is terrible. So he wouldn't help this yr either.
