The wirlwind... NOBODY'S figuring that one out.
Saves were great, passwords were annoying. Did you ever play Faxanadu? It is very similar to Simon's Quest. The game is really fun though the passwords in it are a pain. You have to keep your last several passwords just in case you mess up writing them down. The passwords for that game are case sensitive and have no definitive length.
Actually, it is a a lot better than Simon's Quest
wow those are long passwords, I remember the name, but never played it.
yeah. Who would have ever thought to sit there and kneel at a designated spot with a special crystal or whatnot?
Developers should have been flayed for thinking this was a good idea. But it was certainly a unique game.
It is still a a really long time until training camp, no need to worry about taking a long time anyway
Such a simple fix, too... too many villagers spoke nonsense. Just have them speak or give GOOD clues as to what to do.
Well, you might want to pick it up. Just thinking about it makes me want to play it again lol. And with digital cameras it would make the password thing easier lol.
The story is kinda cute. IIRC these tiny people live in towns inside a big tree. The tree is infested with evil monsters. You start in the roots of the tree and work you way up to the final boss somewhere in the branches.
There are RPG elements to it with leveling up and magic and better weapons and armor.
