think there better than Houston?
Yes, without a doubt.
Houston has been overrated for a long time now, and they're lucky they aren't 0-4 right now.
ok lemme rephrase this do you think they'll play us better than Houston. I don't, I think we win this game. weird that before the jets game I was worried bout us splitting with the jags like we always do. now im confident well win games were supposed to. and I think well win this game pretty convincingly even with fits. 10 plus points
Should be a good game. When the schedule came out, this looked like one of the most winnable games on our schedule...and I'm guessing you all felt the same way. Certainly doesn't look that way now, though.
The Chiefs definitely haven't played a great schedule, but the Cowboys, Eagles, and Giants all looked like tough games early on.
Still not sure what to make of the Chiefs. I do know that we've played against two of the best WR corps in the league Austin/Bryant/Witten and Cruz/Nicks and the top rushing team in the league (Philly with McCoy/Vick). All of them got their yards, but they didn't score much.
Our passing game really struggles to get the ball downfield, but they have had a lot of success with underneath routes and running after the catch.
Our running game has struggled early against stacked lines but has been able to move the chains late to preserve late leads.
Should be a close one. KC is a slight favorite. With Locker out, I think they get the win, but I wouldn't bet the farm.
I think Fitzpatrick throws 2+ picks and we lose. KC's defense is excellent and CJ will be seeing 8-9 in the box all game. Our only hope is for Battle/Greene to get a heavy workload and wear their defense out, then put CJ in to burn them (and open up the passing game).
I don't think KC will play us any better than Houston did. I just believe, unfortunately, that Fitzpatrick will lose us this game.
Take it for what it's worth, but I'm 4-0 when picking our games this year and I've pretty much been dead on with how the game would go. I hope I'm wrong, of course.
i don't know much bout fitz so i hope your wrong bout the ints...i think munch and log will run a o similar to week one and 2 a bunch of short throws don't let fitz sling it around turn him into alex freaking smith
If we can turn Fitzpatrick into Alex Smith, we will be sitting pretty no matter what happens with Locker. But I don't see that happening.
All you need to know about Fitzpatrick:
In 75 games (68 starts) in the NFL, he has thrown 81 INTs and fumbled 40 times (21 lost).
That's horrendous. We are basically getting a Kerry Collins 2.0.
Fitz has thrown over 90 TD's too. Why leave that stat out? Oh, because it doesn't fit in with your Fitzpatrick is garbage post.
