You hit the key word-imagination. They coach the way they were coached and in the face of all contrary evidence, think what they are doing is correct and evidently refuse to consider any other methods. Barry Trotz is the same way. I have never understood that mentality. If it doesn't work, then change it! But I suppose they simply don't have the awareness level to see and understand that.

I can see if he's not developing the young players, but that's not the problem. The problem is the veterans declining at an alarming rate.

I don't know, seems short sighted and immature to call them out like this after a tough loss. I guess that means I'm short sighted and immature cause I agree. The Texans game was doomed by stupid ass play calling and the Chiefs game yesterday as well. I don't get it with the special team ****ups. It seems like it only happens to us. Our team is the only one muffing punts that cost us games. I remember the Eddie Berlin/Justin McCareins debacle against the Colts that cost us the division several years ago. Then you have the AFC championship in Oakland where we pissed the game away with two special teams fumbles in the last two minutes of the first half. I've been a fan of this team since I was 6, so that's 41 years, before they even moved to Nashville, so I'm well on sick of this ****.

One thing I don't get, though, why all the Matthews hate? Surely he is a good coach. What are the indicators that he's not? And I agree that Schwenke should be starting.

McCourty was awful too. Dude does not turn around for the ball. He could've made a couple picks if he knew how to turn around. Letting Avery catch that first bomb was inexcusable.

But yea, Reynaud, Britt, and Turner are the worst we have right now.

Bruce Matthews needs to get the F out too.

I agree with all that except Matthews. Why all the Matthews hate?

Why is he surely a good coach? What indicators do we have that say he is a good coach?

I don't know. It seems that a HoF lineman would know how to coach the line. Why do people think he's bad?

Because the O-line he's incharge of is bad.

Being a HOF player doesn't mean he's going to be a good coach. Being able to play and being able to coach are two completely different things.

Munchak was a great line coach. Maybe it's the players not gelling...Our line looks great on paper if we plug Schwenke in at center.
