The Collins Hate

    Where did it come from?

    In '08, we went 13-3 with him.

    In '09, he played the same game he played in '08, but it doesn't work with an awful defense and only 1 weapon.

    In '10, the season had already been thrown away, and he gave the Colts, who were trying to play their way in, a helluva game.

    And if he didn't bobble that snap, we wouldn't have the 8 pick, lol.

    I mean, I get it, no one ones him to start.

    But why would we cut him/make him 3rd string? Did he blast the fans and I never heard it?

    "Great" is being too kind. He has been very good in some spots and absolutely terrible in others. He doesn't deserve all the hate he gets, but it's not hard to see why people want him gone. He's 39 (or something like that). He offers no hope for the future.

    That's just as bad as using Vince's win/loss record to prove his worth as a QB.

    he had some bright spots here and there... but they were always overshadowed by his bad...

    Actually last year Collins wasn't bad when he was healthy.
    He had a horrific game against Miami when he was hurt and another one in his first game back against the Jags (when the whole team tanked and looked like sissies). He still ended up with an 82 QB rating and had 14 TDs to 8 ints. In both games against Indy he had QB ratings over 110. Britt being out for a few of those games didn't help him either.
