Not a bad trade at all, if he didn't get injured. He was a beast with Atlanta pre-injury.

I think we'll try to keep Bennett. He's not the best but we have absolutely nothing else. Givens will not be counted on next year, and I think it's too much to count on anyone other than Brandon Jones to make an impact. Wade is probably a good #3, but I wouldn't want to start Brandon Jones / Bobby Wade next year.

Via the draft - No way do I count on a rookie WR to start and play well.

We should try to keep Drew.

    Anyways.....

Has anyone heard anything regarding the GM position since Hill interviewed? I don't understand why they're keeping this process so long and quiet. Free Agency isn't far away and some important scouting opportunities (Shrine game, Senior Bowl and Combine) are approaching and we have yet to decide on a final three candidates. What's even crazier is that the Raiders (yeah the Raiders) could have a coach in place before we get a GM.

Probably a sign that the new GM will be more of desk jockey, cap managing kind of guy and that Fisher and the scouts will run the player evaluations.

Is this a good thing? Maybe it is. It seemed like it was a bit much for Floyd to do all the things he had to do. Had he been able to do more of the scouting/drafting/FA aspect of the job and let someone else do the numbers, I think we could've avoided cap hell.
