I quoted it due to some people believing that's how you draft a QB.

Just as I quote portions of the Bible to make a point vs religion. Doesn't mean I believe it, but for those that do- it registers.

    Yeah.

    I know.

    Gabbert is big.

    and strong.

Andre the Giant would have been the best QB of all time.

Tony Pauline probably said the exact same thing about Tom Brady...

because essentially- they're the exact same prospect.

Can't wait to rub this one in the "experts" faces.

Tom Brady and Ricky Stanzi are the exact same? Yikes, dude. What an insane thing to say.

    Exact same PROSPECT?... Yes.

Let me guess, you knew Brady would be great all along, huh?

    lmao

Here's the key though, Brady developed significant arm strength after he entered the league. That's nearly impossible to predict for any prospect. Brady now is no where near Brady then, at least physically.

Brady still dinks and dunks. His strong arm (and it's not very strong today) isn't what makes him good. He's efficient.

Just like Stanzi. Good pocket presence, can run well enough, takes what the defense gives him, and makes good decisions- and better decisions when he's in the clutch.

Any prospect is going to develop armstrength in the NFL. It's like saying CJ was too small to be an NFL RB... so, he got stronger and heavier. No biggie.

I'm gonna just move on from the Brady thing because it's boring to argue about crap like that.

Here's a question: why do you like Stanzi and not McElroy? I am genuinely curious.

Screaming that a guy sucks is what passes for analysis for some on this board. But eric, he praises a QB who isn't even in this draft. Kellen Moore.

It's like an idiot contest so why bother competing with idiots? I gave solid numbers about why i like Newton and how he performed in big games that was too much for some. Emotions rule many on this board like the bozo who suddenly hates Warren Moon because he disagrees with his opinion.

Maybe if somebody critical of Newton was worthy of respect but i don't see much of that.

So smaller and weaker are better? And draft the QB with the weakest arm?

Do you even think about what you write? Don't worry eric will come in with an it sucks. That's what level he operates from.
