yah I've been gone for a while.... got married and all that haha. Football is back and I'm back!!! Too bad Murlarkey is back :( lol

 

I remember reading a lot of the prediction threads about how 9-10 wins is possible and the games listed as "winnable". Today proves why you can't just count every "winnable" game. I still think 6 wins is possible and to me would be a successful season.

To the guy bashing JR for "tanking the year" to get early picks. It seems juuuuuust a tad early to say he's tanking the season. Really, he doesn't have the ability to tank the team, on Mularkey does. I have all the faith in the world that he can tank a team.

 

1. The secondary is awful.

2. Murray was cheap because he fumbles too much.

3. Sharpe is the only decent WR on the roster.

4. Lewan should be cut or traded. He's a lousy bully who gets flags and constantly lets subpar DEs get the jump on him. Don't give me any of that crap that tackles are hard to come by, there are dozens of tackles out there.

5. Henry did well, but he didn't get used after the first half, why? Where was the run game?

6. Kill the zone read crap.

 

Given how ridiculously poor our roster was last year, a total turnaround in one off-season is unrealistic. Yeah, Trader John did not bat 1000, but we did experience a fairly large scale overhaul and I expect as this group gels we will get better and the wins will come. Unlike previous years, there has been real change this year and I believe that will ultimately lead to better results.

 

There's promise in this team. Marcus needs to be more confident, though, and learn to shake off his failures.

We beat ourselves. Thats all there is to it. But it's only the first sunday.

 

Well lets see .....1/2 of the nfl lost so are they ALL crap teams.....panthers lost ....colts lost ...
.Where were all the people complaining when we were up at halftime and seemed in control ....not a peep out of any one ...this will take some time ...yes it does suck to lose but id rather ride with marcus and murray then half the Qb and Rb in nfl .And we will win more with those two than lose with those two ...

 

Where were we? Dreading the inevitable choke job that Titans are known for...
