I think Te'o, right now, is a bigger possibility than most think. -Most teams don't draft an OG in the top 10, look at DeCastro last year. So even though that's our biggest need that will be addressed in 2nd or 3rd round. (Hopefully 2nd) -Our 2nd biggest need is DT. I don't have a problem with our DE's right now since Morgan just came off a great year and we have too much invested in Wimbley to bench him for a rookie and with an improvement at DT his numbers should go up. Star will probably be gone and not sure if anyone else is projected where we're picking. Johnathan Hankins maybe? Jenkins? Bennie Logan? -A lot of mocks have us going CB and that's not a bad idea but it's not a weakness right now. It would be better to move Verner inside but to spend a 1st round pick doing that? I like Milliner but he's a little overrated, especially when watching him last year. He's improved but I think that's mostly because teams threw the ball a lot more to the weaker CB (Belue) and Milliner hasn't been tested much this year. -Safety. We're not going to reach at this position. -Te'o. Improvement over McCarthy, same leadership skills if not more, physical guy, flies all over the field, and can be the face of our defense. Close to being a lock for a pro bowl level player as possible (taking away inury risks of course). Okay maybe not a lock but you get that feeling he's going to be a good player for a while in the NFL. Him, Brown, and Ayers will put us as the best young LB core in the NFL. -If we did look at DE he would have to be a pure pass rusher, we don't want 2 Derrick Morgans out there. Mingo would be a good pick if he could gain some weight or else he's destined to be an OLB, Moore is in the same boat as Mingo, and Werner would be a good choice. 1. Te'o 2. Barrett Jones 3. BPA at DT (Sylvester Williams, Shariff Floyd, Kawaan Short) Address the CB and S needs in free agency and add another OG.
