I think it's cornerback. You need a very specific body type and physical tools. Tremendous agility and hips. You need lots of technique and more film time than anyone to "react" instead of "act" like most other positions.

The worst part? If you do your job perfectly the novice football fan will never notice you, and if you have one bad play you're going to get lit up.

    Here, have a high-five for a non-terrible post.

I agree corner is one of the toughest. Mainly because of the way the league is setup nowadays in favor of offense.

Yeah I wasn't even thinking about how the league has tried to change the game.

It just seems like you can't lack one mental or physical trait and be a solid corner because it will be keyed and prey'd upon. Most other positions you can hide the weakness or at least make up for it by excelling so much in other areas.

I voted CB. With the way the league has pushed the game towards the offense, these guys can't even sit on an island anymore. They get "picked" with impunity with no call, and yet still can't really "play" the position as they are asked and required to do. In my opinion, it is the only position on the field that is being played at a real disadvantage. LT would be next for me, followed by QB.

Kicker-No one cares about you(even the coaches) and everyone acts likes your not a football player and almost every kick 30-35 yards or longer is way more difficult then what people realize plus the mental toughness you need to hit those pressure situation field goals at the end of games is no joke.

And if you miss one everyone (team fans coaches)Blames you for the loss.

If you do your job=No one cares
    If you don't=Everyone blames you.

Its a lose lose situation....OK I know is not the most difficult because players in other positions are risking injury ect... but (as a former kicker my self(FIU))People don't realize how difficult it is.

CBs do have it rough, smallest guys on the field, can't even breath on a receiver these days....
