I did one of these for sports, but here's one for all subjects. Like they do on SportsNation, compare two things you think worthy of getting a head-to-head comparison, and say which one you think should win. Next person answers and adds new match up, and so on. You don't have to keep as only "which is better", you can be more selective in what you're asking for your comparison (ex. of what I mean below). I'll go first.

    More endearing villain?

    Heath Ledger/The Joker

    Or

    Sharon Stone/Catherine Tramell

Frank Booth, pretty easy choice for me, although Dafoe was a ****ing freak in Wild at Heart. Both are some of the best villains of the neo-noir genre, but Booth will always remain my favorite.

    Better Horror Film Hero:

    Ash

    OR

    R.J. MacReady

Ash. I will never vote against Bruce Campbell. Ever. I know better than that. :)

    Staying on villains...

    More deserving Oscar-winning villain?

    DDL as Daniel Plainview
    [IMG]

    Or

    Denzel as Alonzo Harris

Speaking of Ash, there's a nice chance I'll get my Evil Dead Cabin Travelogue of Terror entry printed in an upcoming issue of Rue Morgue..
Can't wait to find out for sure..

Ian McShane by default due to Daniel Day Lewis being the most overrated actor of the past decade. Overacting doesn't make you a good actor.

    Better breakthrough role:

    Edward Norton in Primal Fear
    [IMG]

    or

Emile Hirsch in Into The Wild?

I own both movies. I'd take Edward Norton, although I prefer Into the Wild over Primal Fear.

I'm not good at this stuff, so I don't have any options to offer.

I like The Sopranos better as a show but the finale was akin to falling asleep while The Lost season ending here was more of an actual eye opener..
    So... LOST
