...still the best Peyton commercial, more realistic of what he's like...

Most of the VY hype was during his rookie year when he came in and started making big plays. he was the ESPN highlight reel. Remember the overtime win in Houston? People were like here comes Vince! it was short lived.

the only way we will be one of america's team is if we were to move to the northeast and win 3 super bowls.

You must win at some point in order to retain fans. Cowboys, Steelers, Packers, all teams with a huge nationwide fanbase all long stretches of winning in which they gained and retained fans. Those fans had kids, and by default, they were fans of that team as well.

Most recently, it has been the Pats. We will see if they retain fans during down years like the prevoiusly mentioned teams have.

It takes a lot to be supported nationwide by more than your fair share of fans, which is understandable since most fans are geographically decided.

But, honestly, why would someone in North Dakota want to be a Titans fan right now? We're about like Tampa Bay. We play good D, have a horrid offense, and are downright boring to watch unless you are already a fan of that team to begin with (thus not gaining new ones)

I think being a run first team makes people turn away and watch other teams with great passing QB's Like Manning and WR's like Moss. we will never be that kind of team. But i dont think we need to be if VY can play every year like his rookie year. We just need play makers doing some amazing stuff on the field so people will want to keep watching. Right now on Offence the only players i see doing some great stuff is VY and Chris Johnson.

Has any small market team even come close? Green Bay with it's century of winning still has never reached that status...

Unless we somehow get Randy Moss, Terrell Owens, LaDainian Tomlinson, Ed Reed, Brian Dawkins, Brian Urlacher, Antonio Gates, Antonio Cromartie, Champ Bailey and Tom Brady, the answer is clearly no

I think we gained alot of fans nationwide that year we went to the Super Bowl, since it was a relatively new team at the time, but one that played hard with a good defense and had some exciting moments (Music City Miracle comes to mind)
