I wouldn't bet on that, and I am a Ford guy. If you want a real truck, buy the Chevy. If you want a tinkertoy that looks like a truck... well...

A Ford maybe.. I'd put my money on the Titan over a GM though.
Or you could get the Tundra and be done with it..

i loved the tundra a few years ago, but it seems like toyato has supersized them to the point to them being undrivable.

I just wouldn't get a truck unless you really need one. During high school I drove an '02 Silverado Z71 almost exactly like that one (without the added stuff)... Yea, I was ten feet tall and bulletproof. I thought it was so cool. Hey, it really was a chick magnet (back then), and it served its purpose every now and then. I put 30,000 miles on it from sophomore year to the beginning of college last year. It's now up at my dad's place and he uses it more than I ever would. I did use it a week or so ago to help someone move furniture and stuff... 100,000+ miles and still running great.

Overall, I didn't use it for heavy duty stuff enough. I now drive almost the exact opposite from a big truck... a 2006 Honda Civic coupe. I love it. Great gas mileage, sleek look, smooth ride.

If you truly need one, I'd go with the cheapest one which is going to be the Chevy.
