probably will stick with IE no matter how big a luddite it makes me.
People like to bash IE because its Microsoft and because it's slow and rarely updated.
For home users chrome is a nice slick browser.
In business use it's a liabilty.
Chrome is constantly in beta form because changes are made so frequently. Ask it to work with any web based databases and it's a buggy nightmare.
You have to lock it down to prevent it from updating. Ask it to work with any bespoke coded and it's a complete pig odf a browswer that is constantly crashing.
In the enterprise, developers need a browser that is stable and whose code is accessible and not changing on a weekly basis. For that reason IE will always be king in the business world.
I use Chrome exclusively. It's the best browser.
On Ubuntu it's preatty good browser
On 10.10 Maverick beta it's included
Chrome doesn't work well (at all) with our SSL VPN.
I'm using Chrome now on my Ubuntu machine, and I can't tell much difference.; but to be fair, I think my machine is a piece..
:?: coded message..
