Coach Mike Munchak said he’s hopeful that starting left tackle Michael Roos, who’s missed several OTA sessions with a sore back, will be able to participate to some extent in next week’s minicamp.

Guard Andy Levitre (knee) and tackle David Stewart (leg), two other starters, will likely be limited to individual drills as they continue to recover from surgeries.

Munchak said wide receiver Justin Hunter (hamstring) would likely be held out of the minicamp, which is the team’s last on-field activity until the start of training camp in late July.

Former Vanderbilt tight end Brandon Barden (knee) is expected to return for the minicamp.

Those missing practice on Thursday included Hunter, wide receiver Roberto Wallace (ankle), safety Markelle Martin (groin), safety Bernard Pollard (excused), safety Robert Johnson (foot), Roos, Barden, wide receiver Kevin Walter (back) and defensive tackle Jurrell Casey (excused).
