Thursday games are typically always awful. Football teams need an entire week to recover from the previous game. Asking teams to suit back up 4 days later is a recipe for awful football. The only Thursday game that is an exception is the first game of the season because neither team is coming off a short week.

None of this is wrong, it's all entirely true, but I don't care if it means I get to watch more games more days of the week during the season.

TNF isn't that bad, much closer games than last year's MNF

Usually in the past TNF are divisional games

Last night was just 2 really bad teams

He had a low ceiling and peaked early in his career. Why is anyone really surprised?

He'll be a career backup that will start on occasion soon.

You thought both teams looked bad last night....just wait for next weeks thriller between the 49ers and Rams.

One problem the NFL has created that I think is hurting ratings is the fact that they promise every team some sort of prime time game every year. And so they decide to play 2 bad teams against each other to just get both of them their prime time game. That is what is happening next Thursday night and that is why the Titans/Jags have had so many prime time games against each other.

The NFL should make it a rule that if you have one of the worst 4 records in the league then you don't get a prime time game.
