BTW, Lito Sheppard is now with the Jets. Sheldon Brown wants out because he wants a new long-term contract. So we would have to part with draft picks and re-sign him to a rich new extension. Not exactly the Titan way.

The highest comp. pick is a third rounder AFAIK.

 

Compensatory picks aren't awarded before the third round.

 

we wouldnt need another CB is the Titans can control the clock eat up 9 minutes on each drive.

 

I honestly wouldn't mind seeing a Reynaldo Hill signing. He looked like he was starting to improve when he played last preseason. He could provide good depth to a system he already knows, and he was an excellent ST'r. I know people hate on Hill, but he is better than Faggins, and quality veteran CB's aren't just falling all over us.

 

Why can't we get Chris McAlister or Patrick Surtain. I understand they're in their 30's, but they can't be any older than Harper.

 

McAlister is damaged goods, and he probably wants paid too much.
